When is an online prescription not suitable?

(1) A telehealth appointment with Qoctor is NOT suitable in a medical emergency, so CALL ‘000’ if your health issue requires IMMEDIATE CARE. This includes chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, confusion, reduced consciousness, severe dizziness/weakness or a mental health crisis.

(2) If it turns out you need a physical examination, your doctor may advise you to see your local GP in person. Similarly, some complex issues, such as long term pain or serious mental health conditions are best managed by your regular doctor.
