Dr. Weng-Tak Poon

Dr Weng-Tak Poon originates from Scotland. He studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh, receiving the Vellupillai Ophthalmology prize in 2005. He completed vocational training in General Practice and worked in Queen’s medical centre, Nottingham and at Manchester Royal Infirmary. He was a medical examiner for the University of Manchester. For the past 10 years, he has been based in Melbourne, where he works as a GP in a busy medical practice. As a member of the Qoctor team, he is involved in developing innovative new technology to deliver healthcare online. He has a special interest in men’s health including erectile dysfunction and sexual health, and is a regular contributor to the Qoctor Health Library on these topics.
