What does Qoctor do?
Qoctor is an online doctor service provided by Aussie doctors, which you can access from the comfort of home.
Qoctor provides same day telehealth appointments 830am-10pm daily AEDT, 365 days a year, for medical certificates, carer’s certificates, specialist referrals, prescriptions, and other doctor consultations for lots of common issues.
How much does an appointment cost for RAFFWU members?
RAFFWU members get $5 off all online appointments with Qoctor. An online doctor appointment for a RAFFWU member to get a medical certificate with Qoctor costs only $19.99 (non RAFFWU price is $24.99). Prescription consults range from $21.99-$26.99 plus delivery (non-RAFFWU price is $26.99-$31.99).
Do I need Medicare?
No. Qoctor is a private telehealth service, so Medicare is not required to book an appointment. However, Qoctor may ask for your Medicare number if you want to get a prescription or pathology request, as this may lead to reduced costs when accessing services from pharmacies/laboratories.
What about privacy?
Patient confidentiality is paramount. Qoctor does not pass any patient information on to third parties, unless expressly requested to do so by a patient.
