○ Sudden-onset severe headache (worse than a typical migraine)
○ Headache with fever
○ Weakness or numbness affecting one side of the body
○ Headache following a recent head injury

○ Have NOT woken me up from deep sleep
○ Have NOT increased in severity or frequency over the last three months
○ Have NOT changed from my usual migraine symptoms

○ Drowsiness or confusion
○ New or progressive hearing loss in one ear that has not been investigated
○ Any changes in vision

○ Previous stroke or mini stroke (TIA)
○ Kidney Disease
○ Epilepsy/Seizures or other neurological conditions
○ Heart disease (Including chest pain, angina or heart attacks)
○ Peripheral Vascular disease (poor circulation in the legs)
○ Uncontrolled hypertension (high blood pressure)
○ Heart Arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat)

○ Anticoagulant medication (blood thinners e.g. warfarin or Xarelto)
○ Medication used to treat depression or anxiety
○ St John’s Wort
○ Other 'triptan' medicines used to treat migraine,
○ Ergotamine

○ Heaviness, tightness or pressure in the chest/neck
○ Palpitations (pounding/fast/irregular heartbeat)
○ Sensation of burning, numbness, tightness or tingling
○ Shortness of breath

○ I am 18 years old or over.
○ The medication is to be used only by me
○ I will read the drug information sheet and make myself aware of all possible side effects
○ I have no known allergy to the medication selected
○ I take responsibility for informing my regular GP of this consultation & any subsequent health issues
○ I understand the limitations of an automated consultation
○ I am aware that this may not replace the need for a face to face consultation and examination with my GP
○ If I have any concerns about any aspect of my health I will consult with my regular GP
